For one in eight women in the United States, developing breast cancer isn’t just a possibility – it’s a reality. And the sobering diagnosis comes with many difficulties: affording medical treatment, living with painful side effects, and feeling as if you have zero energy. Zip. Zilch. Nothing. Nada.

As caretakers, friends, and family members, it’s not easy to watch our loved ones struggle. It may even lead us to feel helpless. For this reason, Paul Deschenes and the La Vita Bella staff have teamed up with Roberta’s Legacy for a fundraising event. After all, we aren’t helpless if we can come together as a community to support patients and their families while they navigate this difficult journey.

You are invited to “Eat for your Life!” During the event you will learn how to optimize recovery with a food-based approach. The fundraiser will be hosted by La Vita Bella restaurant and will benefit Roberta’s Legacy. Your evening will include a fine dining experience featuring ketogenic and auto-immune inspired appetizers, salads, entrees, and dessert. Each course will be accompanied by a delicious and nutritious alcohol-free “mocktail” drink.

Live music will be provided by Pair of Three and renowned chef LeRoy Alvarez will prepare the five-course dinner.

Included with your ticket is the “Eat for Your Life!” cookbook, written from the perspective and research of the caregiver of a loved one with breast cancer. The author shares his insights on nutrition, supplements, and other wisdom for an integrated care approach.
